A good little recipe book with both savoury cake and sweet cake recipes, which worked out well. I baked the cakes in the KitchenCraft Chicago Metallic Professional Non-Stick 8-Cup Mini Loaf Tin, 32.5 x 23 cm (13" x 9"),also using Wilton White Baking Cases, Petite Loaf, pack of 50, all purchased from Amazon. A good combination that works well together. Would recommend.

made a few already and are proving so popular with my family and friends. I am struggling to find maize flour and buckwheat flour but lots of possibilities to explore. I recommend this book.

Disappointed with purchase. Mini cakes contains a lot more savouries than sweet cakes. I wanted a book about cakes and I see cake as sweet so I returned the book

Bought this for the sweet recipes have tried the first savoury one, with trepidation. Blew my socks off, wonderful flavours will definitely be working my way through the book.

I had hoped that this would give more advice on mini-loaf cakes than it does; particularly varying the cooking time [downwards] for the smaller individual size.
All the savoury ones are variants on a single base recipe [the flours employed vary]; one can use that base for other variations by using similar quantities, of the additional ingredients, to produce an e.g. pescatarian savoury based on smoked salmon and dill mustard.
The more cake-like section is disappointing; splitting my 'ordinary' recipes into mini-loaf cases and adjusting the cooking time downwards works well enough for me.
